The Mayhew Animal Home, established 118 years ago, is today one of the busiest sanctuaries in London, rescuing and re-homing thousands of companion animals from abandonment, abuse and neglect every year. The work of The Mayhew goes far beyond conventional animal welfare issues and includes:

We have re-homed thousands of dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals over the years.

Each animal is different but all have one feature in common: they all need love, time and attention.

The Mayhew Animal Home relies totally on voluntary contributions. We do not receive any government or lottery aid. Our work would be impossible without the support of our Friends, so, by becoming a Friend of the Mayhew you will be directly helping the animals in our care.

Membership costs just £10 for a full year, or £5 for senior citizens and the under 16’s.
